How BLS (Brand Launch Solutions) handles your photos on photos.bls.co.za.
who we are
BLS (Brand Launch Solutions) is the responsible party for the photos on this page. Questions or requests: info@bls.co.za.
what we collect
- The photos our photographer took of you at the event.
- Anonymous counts of how often an album is opened and photos are saved. No names, phone numbers, email addresses, cookies or IP addresses are stored.
You do not need an account, and we do not track you across other websites.
why
- To give you your photos, which you asked for by scanning the QR code.
- To share the event's photos with the client or brand that hosted the event.
- To see how much the photo service is used (the anonymous counts).
where your photos are stored
Photos are stored and delivered by Cloudinary. This page and the anonymous counts are run on Vercel and Upstash. These services may store data outside South Africa (for example in the United States or Europe), under their own data-protection terms. Camera serial numbers and location data are removed from every photo before it is uploaded.
how long we keep them
Photos and their links are deleted automatically 14 days after they are shared with you. Anonymous counts are kept for 30 days.
your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask us which of your photos we hold, ask us to remove or correct them, or object to them being used. Email info@bls.co.za with the link to your photos (or the code at the end of it) and we will remove them.
If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za.
